SAGE was established after 35 years of caregiving in St. Louis, by the Whittington Family.
Our Story
Born to satisfy the unique challenging needs of a Seniors Home Care client and his wife with advanced dementia, Ryan Whittington and Julie Daubendiek, RN identified and developed SAGE. After 35 years of providing customized premium in home care, SAGE incorporates person-centered activity-based structure designed to provide lasting and sustainable dementia care that families have grown to trust.

As the world experiences increased aging mixed with higher and higher levels of dementia, we look forward to continuing to meet each of our clients needs.

Gretchen, an artist and educator by training, is focused on providing the best client experience using a person-centered activity-based approach. Art is calming and therapeutic for our SAGE clients.
